Student Covid-19 Home Testing

Record your test result

What does home testing involve?

Students will need to:

  • Take a test twice a week – Please test on a Sunday evening and a Wednesday evening to help us monitor the results and to minimise any possible disruption to learning
  • Report every result to NHS Test and Trace on the same day you take the test following the instructions in the home test kit box issued to you by School at www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result
  • As well as the NHS, you will need to report your test result to school using the google form Click here to Access the form

If anyone tests positive or gets coronavirus symptoms, they should tell the school and:

  • Self-isolate immediately
  • Get a confirmatory PCR test to confirm the result
  • Follow the stay at home guidance for households with possible coronavirus infection

negative result means the test did not find signs of coronavirus at the time of testing. But this does not guarantee you do not have coronavirus, so you should keep following all coronavirus advice including regular handwashing, social distancing and wearing a face covering where recommended.

void result means it’s likely the test hasn’t been administered properly. Please do not take another test at home if this happens. Instead, you should report the void result and call 119 for further guidance.
