New prospectus launched
Our new prospectus has been launched.
Bobby Moore Academy, named after England’s 1966 World Cup-winning captain, opens its doors to Year 7 students in September 2017.
The prospectus outlines the plans and vision for the academy from the sponsor, the David Ross Education Trust.
The academy, which will be located on two sites next to the former Olympic Stadium, will become a through school educating nearly 1500 children and young people from Reception through to Sixth Form.
Wendy Marshall, Chief Executive Officer for the David Ross Education Trust, said: “Bobby Moore Academy’s prospectus is a snapshot of the exciting vision we have for education we will offer the students of East London.
“The academy will deliver high academic standards and unrivalled enrichment opportunities, underpinned by a strong community ethos.
“One thing that will really make our academy stand out is the sporting opportunities that will be on offer. Not only are we in the heart of the former Olympic Park, meaning that we can access some incredible sporting facilities, we will also be partnering with some of the leading sporting bodies in the country.
“Everything is in place for this to be a truly inspirational and outstanding school.”
