Bobby Moore Primary Site nears completion
Building work at the Bobby Moore Academy Primary Site is now entering the final phase.
A number of our upcoming Year 7 students, who will join the Bobby Moore Academy in September, were blown away by the progress made during our recent transition event.
As teachers prepare to welcome our first set of students, the spectacular classrooms and facilities are now starting to take shape throughout the school.
Construction of the secondary site, which is situated next to the former Olympic Stadium, is also progressing well as all six floors are now in place. The state-of-the-art building is on track for the planned completion in Summer 2018.
Stuart Burns, Principal, said: “The work at both sites continue to progress well. The completion of our primary site will mark the beginning of an exciting new phase for education in Newham.
“I am looking forward to welcoming our new students and encouraging them to make the most of the outstanding facilities available to them.”
